Puccini Opera Festival
The Puccini Opera Festival in Torre del Lago represents one of the most important Music Festival in Italy. During it, which takes place in July and August, all the main characters of the Puccini’s operas, such as Madama Butterfly, Turandot or Boheme will relive in the new Open Air Theatre on the coast of the Massaciuccoli Lake.
Day 1: Arrival in Hotel – Dinner and Overnight stay
Day 2: In the morning, visit of Pisa. In the afternoon, guided tour of Lucca, discovering the places of the Puccini’s life. During your trip, you will have a break at the Cafè De Simo, where Puccini used to meet his friends. In the evening, you will be enchanted by the wonderful music of the great master.
Day 3: A day to discover Florence with its artistic attractions. In the afternoon, free time to discover the city by yourselves or to visit the Uffizi Museum or simply for shopping.
Day 4: Journey Home

The camellias blooming
In the weekends of March, the gardens of Lucca open their gates to the public, which could admire the blooming of the different types of camellias.
Day 1: Arrival in Hotel – Dinner and overnight stay
Day 2: Guided tour of Lucca, then visit of a tree nursery in the Pistoia area. At the end, a wine tasting in Montecarlo.
Day 3: After breakfast, with a tour escort, you will go to Sant’Andrea di Compito, to visit the wonderful gardens with the camellias blooming. Dinner in a restaurant housed in an old Mill.
Day 4: In the morning, visit of Vinci, birthplace of Leonardo. Here you could see the house and the Museum which hosts the works of the great inventor. In the afternoon, you will get to Pisa, where the Square of Miracles awaits you!.

Viareggio Carnival
Ever since the Carnival of Viareggio began, it has been acquiring a strong touristic value and every year attracts more than one million spectators gathering to attend the magic of the great parade of big papier-mâché floats. Real travelling theatres - the allegorical papier-mâché floats are the product of the unequalled creativity, of the extraordinary sculpture and painting skill of Viareggio ‘magicians’, and are the highest example of this popular art whose language has spread all over the world. The parades take place on Sundays in a ring-like circuit 2 km. long, on the seaside avenues of Viareggio, best known as La Passeggiata. Furthermore, every evening, from Friday to Sunday, there are carnival celebrations in all of the city's different quarters, where it is possible, to eat, drink and dance till late night.
The Carnival takes place during February/March, for a total of 5 parades.
Day 1: Arrival in Hotel – Dinner and overnight stay
Day 2: In the morning, guided tour of Florence. In the afternoon, free time for shopping, discovering the town or visiting the Uffizi Museum. In the evening, Carnival celebration in one of the city quarters.
Day 3: Visit of the Heart of Tuscany: the Chianti area. In the morning, visit of San Gimignano where you will have a wine tasting. In the afternoon, visit of Siena, example of Tuscan gothic style.
Day 4: In the morning visit of Carrara or Pietrasanta. Then you will go to Viareggio to participate in the colourful parade.
